In 1999 I started out in the Gundog world as I was a gamekeeper in Herefordshire, UK.
I use to have Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and run in working tests gaining lots of awards against other retrievers.
Won my first field trial in 2004, but soon afterwards I left Gundogs as I was in the fire service.
Coming back into Gundogs in 2013, our kennels have made 3 x Field trial champions.
Multiple times I have been to the IGL retriever championship,and in 2021 I gained a Diploma of merit with FTCh Berryshot Bernie.
I’m an A panel judge and have judged the Swedish IGL, the Belgium and Italian retriever championship.
But keeping me to my roots I have run my own shoot since 2016 on Cowdray estate, West Sussex.
Where I am their Gundog trainer, boosting of 16,500 acre estate and holding the biggest team working test in the UK every April.
